Delayed

I've been holding off on the posts for the last few months, and I'm mad at myself for it. Now thoughts are coming to my head at an alarming rate. I'm thinking about changing my account because I don't like the URL. Plus, a fresh start is always nice. I may just wait until summer to do this.
That's all for this post.

Birthday

Wow I had an amazing day today. I got to first block and saw two batches of cupcakes, Chai Tea, muffins and balloons. I have such great friends, I had no idea.I got more tea second block, in a party cup... a pet rock named Dan, and some incense...sort of... Then in third block, we played leap frog and gave each other back rubs instead of doing cardio. Didn't do a think last block. Rehearsal was fun. Everyone was so great. Then came dinner at Paymon's. Most delicious and hilarious time ever with some of my favorite people. Ah. All in all, great great day. I'm still awaiting a CD from Connor and a crazy video from Sarah Lee. Man oh man. To be 17...feels the same.

The Weather

This week has been nothing but gray. I must say I have thoroughly enjoyed the rain, as have the trees. I've also started to run barefoot, but because of the cold rain, I haven't been able to go out for a week. I miss it a lot, and I'm a little afraid I will get off track and stop for good, since my brother is no longer in Vegas to motivate and run with me. We'll see where this goes....

2010 Thus Far

Well I've had a good year so far. Woke up at Amerique's house on the first, went to "Color Me Mine" with Ellen to paint ceramics. Interesting but enjoyable. Then I went to First Friday and got to see Andrew and Ana from way back in the day. Saw a drug deal on the way home. On the second, I walked around Boca with my neighbor and watched her spend extravagantly on unnecessary items from American Apparel. Then I went to the Gardens to play Chalk Sock with Lauren, Candice and a ton of kids I don't know from Las Vegas Academy. Rode to It's a Grind in a yellow VW bus. And heard a beautiful song written by Lauren. So far, a success!

Little Girl, Em

Just this month, my first dog, Emma, died. She was getting sick, and we did not know what was wrong. We took her to the hospital to see what she was suffering from. They kept her overnight for observation. However, at around midnight, she seized and passed on. It's been pretty hard on my family, especially my mom. We're currently on the look out for a new dog, so Joey boy will have a friend again. The poor boy is so lonely now.
On the bright side, she's out of pain now, wherever she is.

Joey and Emma. Emma is on the right.

Jersey Boys

For my dad's 50th birthday, my family and I took him to see Jersey Boys. We had a great dinner, loved the show, and were lucky enough to go backstage and hang out for a bit. I hope he had a great night. He is an amazing man.

Dinner

He's a rock star.

Have a beautiful day today.
